This type of magnetic separator is primarily designed to separate magnetic metal contaminants from bulk materials with good flow properties. The main components of the magnetic separator are pull-out magnetic grids (finger magnets), which capture all metal contaminants.
Separators are fitted with permanent magnets, either ferrite magnets or rare-earth NdFeB neodymium magnets, which provide several times higher magnetic flux density (magnetic force); grids fitted with these magnets can also capture weakly magnetic contaminants.
These grids are usually installed in pairs inside a housing manufactured to your dimensional requirements. The upper grid always has one fewer magnetic tube so that, once inserted into the housing, the two grids form a cascade arrangement. This ensures that the material being separated comes into contact with the magnetic tubes. This design provides highly efficient separation.

Finger magnets - grids can also be installed separately, e.g. in a hopper. In this case, we fit the grids with material spreaders positioned centrally above the level of the magnetic tubes to ensure that the material is distributed evenly onto the magnetic tubes.
