The magnetic separator is designed for capturing magnetic metal contaminants in flowing liquids. It is fitted with very strong permanent magnets to prevent the magnetic contaminants from being carried away by the liquid flow. These are neodymium NdFeB magnets, which have several times higher magnetic induction than conventional ferrite magnets, which would not retain the metal contaminants in the liquid.
We usually manufacture inlet and outlet diameters of 50, 100, 150 and 250 mm. The magnetic separator can also be supplied in a double-jacketed design for heating the inner jacket (e.g. separation from chocolate).
The magnetic separator is designed so that, during cleaning, the operator does not have to remove the magnetic cores from the stainless-steel non-magnetic housings, preventing their contamination or damage. During cleaning, the magnetic cores remain in the covered upper section of the magnetic component. The body of the magnetic separator is equipped with a drain opening for releasing residual heat and liquid before cleaning.
After releasing the swing bolts (union nuts for diameters 50 and 100), remove the magnetic component from the body of the magnetic separator, release the locking clip and use the handle to pull the magnets into the upper position. This demagnetizes the stainless-steel tubes and the metals fall off.

To achieve more effective magnetic separation, easier handling during cleaning and use in certified facilities with a documented production system, we developed a new MF 50/1 magnetic separator model.

See for yourself how effective metal separation can be for your application. We will test your material to determine how many contaminants this magnetic separator can capture.
The magnetic separator is lightweight, highly durable and chemically resistant. Temperature resistance up to 80 °C or 100 °C. All components that come into contact with the separated medium are made of plastic. The separator is suitable for the food industry.
The magnetic separator is terminated with flanges or threaded fittings. However, we can meet your requirements for inlet/outlet dimensions and different types of connections.
Everything is carried out using a single specially designed installation wrench included in the delivery.
A magnetic grid developed with particular emphasis on moisture resistance - the magnets are fully enclosed and therefore never come into direct contact with the liquid. Another major advantage is that the magnets cannot attach themselves to anything during cleaning, preventing possible injury to the operator. This separator is fitted with very strong neodymium magnets.
Other options for separating metals from liquid mixtures include magnetic rods and grids.
The separator is suitable for capturing magnetic metal contaminants from liquids where high magnetic strength and safe manual cleaning are required.
When selecting a separator, it is important to consider the type of medium, inlet and outlet diameter, heating requirements, chemical resistance, pressure, temperature and cleaning method.
We will help you select the right model based on the type of medium, flow rate, pipe diameter, cleaning requirements, chemical resistance and operating temperature.
