The separators are designed to separate metal contaminants from readily permeable mixtures with poorer flow properties and larger particle sizes, where the material would no longer pass smoothly through the magnetic grids described above. They are usually fitted with ferrite magnets, and a version with neodymium (NdFeB) magnets is also available on request. We manufacture plate magnetic separators with inlet diameters of 100, 150, 200 and 250 mm.
An advantage is the adjustable material spreader, which directs the material flow evenly onto the magnetic plates, thereby achieving the highest possible magnetic separation efficiency even when the separator is installed at an angle.
We continuously improve and refine our products. We now manufacture a plate separator, which, thanks to its unique demagnetization system, allows captured magnetic contaminants to be removed more easily and quickly, saving time and increasing operational efficiency.
This separator is functionally identical to the separator described above and has the same installation height, so the previous model can be replaced with the new one without any modifications. It is also equipped with a material spreader and fitted with ferrite magnets.

The magnetic separator is operated using FESTO pneumatic components. The separator is suitable for separating metal contaminants from materials with poorer flow properties and larger particle sizes. The material being processed enters through the central section. The adjustable material spreader directs the material flow evenly onto the magnetic plates, achieving maximum magnetic separation efficiency.
We also manufacture plate magnetic separators with automatic cleaning. The separator is functionally identical to the manually cleaned version, and the installation height remains unchanged (making it easy to replace a manually cleaned plate separator with an automatically cleaned one).
During automatic cleaning, the plates move into the side sections of the separator, where they are demagnetized and the captured contaminants automatically fall into the side discharge chutes.
The magnetic plates are usually fitted with ferrite magnets. A version with NdFeB neodymium magnets is also available on request.
A drawback of the unit is the need to interrupt the material flow during automatic cleaning.

The MSP plate magnetic separator is suitable for separating metal contaminants from readily permeable mixtures with poorer flow properties and larger particle sizes, where the material would not pass smoothly through magnetic grids.
When selecting a separator, it is important to consider the material's flow properties, particle size, required separation efficiency, magnet type, inlet diameter, cleaning method and the possibility of angled installation.
We will recommend the appropriate MSP, MSP UP, MSP UP2 or MSP FAC model based on the material, particle size, flowability, required separation efficiency and cleaning method.
