Magnetic rods with diameters of 25 and 30 mm are fitted with very powerful NdFeB magnets. Thanks to the very thin wall of the protective tube, the resulting magnetic flux density on the surface of the magnetic tube is 6.300 and 8.900 G! Using these magnetic rods, you can assemble any magnetic separator yourself.
Simply screw the magnetic rods onto any support using the thread to create a magnetic grid. An improved option is to place the magnetic rods inside stainless steel tubes to facilitate cleaning. Once the rods are pulled out of these tubes, the metals fall off - however, this significantly reduces the magnetic force.
These magnetic separators contain very powerful NdFeB neodymium magnets, making their separation highly efficient. The separator is inserted inside the fabric filter, thereby significantly increasing filtration efficiency while also extending the service life of fabric filters.
This magnetic separator consists of one or two magnetic rods and a stainless steel support into which the rods are inserted. The entire unit is then inserted into the fabric bag filter. We have significantly simplified the attachment of the magnetic rod in the stainless steel support, so no screwing is required.
Fabric filters alone normally capture contaminants only from 20 μm in size. Our magnets for textile filters have been verified by an accredited testing laboratory to capture metal contaminants as small as 1,5 μm.
We manufacture the magnetic rods with a polished finish, which makes them significantly easier to clean. The non-magnetic ends of the rods also help, making it easy to wipe the metals off the rod.
Magnetic rods are suitable for assembling your own magnetic separator or magnetic grid, or for use in textile filters, where they increase filtration efficiency and help capture very fine metal contaminants.
When choosing a magnetic rod, it is important to consider its diameter, the required magnetic strength, the mounting method, the type of support, the need for easy cleaning and any intended use in a textile filter.
We will help you choose the right design based on the required magnetic strength, rod diameter, mounting method, filter type and cleaning requirements.
