The injection moulding machine hopper magnet is intended for use in the plastics industry, particularly when processing regranulate or crushed material. The magnet is placed in the injection moulding machine hopper. It is fitted with very powerful NdFeB neodymium magnets and can capture even very fine metal dust particles. Using a hopper magnet significantly extends the service life of the injection nozzles.
We normally manufacture injection moulding machine hopper magnets in diameters of 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 and 350 mm.
A major advantage of the hopper magnet is that it can be demagnetised. Demagnetisation is carried out by loosening the locking screw and withdrawing the magnetic cores from the stainless-steel tubes. This makes cleaning very quick and convenient, and the captured metals simply fall away.
We now also offer injection moulding machine hopper magnets with temperature resistance up to 120 °C. They are likewise fitted with very powerful NdFeB neodymium magnets, but with significantly higher temperature resistance.
We developed this improved injection moulding machine hopper magnet in response to your requirements for maximum separation efficiency and occupational safety. This improved version is fitted with very powerful neodymium magnets. Its main advantages include, in particular, the placement of the magnets in a plastic housing, which covers the entire cross-section of the injection moulding machine hopper. This ensures that all plastic granulate passes through the magnetic grids, where metal contaminants are captured.
We offer plastic housings in various sizes so that this separator can be used in a wide range of hoppers. The plastic housing is made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene). The magnets are housed in plastic tubes, and captured contaminants can be removed very easily and quickly by withdrawing the magnetic cores from the protective plastic tubes.

Another significant advantage is that the magnetic cores are permanently attached to the separator housing. This improves occupational safety and helps prevent injuries, for example when very powerful magnetic cores are handled carelessly and placed on a metal surface.
You can also purchase a cleaning fixture for the hopper magnet. It is universal for all housing sizes and makes cleaning even quicker and easier.
Hang the separator on the auxiliary hooks of the cleaning fixture, which can be mounted anywhere on a wall.
