This separator represents a new generation of magnetic separators and makes it possible to separate non-ferrous metals from ferrous metals and other non-metallic particles. The separator consists of a conveyor with a magnetic induction roller installed at its end. This roller is fitted with very powerful NdFeB neodymium magnets. The separation method is based on the different electrical conductivity of individual metals.
As the magnetic roller rotates, eddy currents are generated, causing the non-ferrous metals to be "repelled" from the magnetic roller. The non-metallic material falls naturally from the conveyor. Ferrous metals are carried beyond the axis of the magnetic roller, where they are released.
Main applications:
This conveyor spreads the accumulated material on the conveyor into an even layer across the full width of the belt. The material can then be separated more easily and efficiently, particularly when using a non-ferrous metal separator, magnetic plate, magnetic drum or magnetic roller. The vibratory conveyor is suitable for dry bulk materials. It is not suitable for fine or sticky materials. The high-sided conveyor trough prevents material from accidentally falling outside the conveyor belt.
Take advantage of our test eddy current separator! We will test your own material free of charge and document the result. Only with Magsy can you be certain that the separator will work exactly as you need it to!
The non-ferrous metal separator is suitable for separating non-ferrous metals from ferrous metals and other non-metallic particles. It is mainly used where materials need to be sorted according to the different electrical conductivity of individual metals.
When selecting a separator, it is important to know the material composition, the proportion of non-ferrous metals, the quantity of ferrous metals, the type of non-metallic material, the required capacity, the feeding method and whether a vibratory conveyor is suitable for distributing the material evenly.
Use our test eddy current separator. We will verify the separation of your material and document the result, so you can be confident that the solution is right for your specific operation.
