This version of an overband magnetic separator is suitable when the occurrence of magnetic contaminants is low and it is possible to manually clean the magnet at least once per work shift. If contaminants were not removed from the magnet regularly, the magnetic force would gradually decrease.
The advantage is simple installation without requiring modifications to the conveyor belt structure, as well as the possibility of positioning the plate as close as possible to the conveyed material, thereby achieving maximum utilisation of the magnetic circuit.
Magnetic plate is suspended using lifting eyes above the conveyor belt. The magnetic plate is usually fitted with ferrite magnets, and on request it can also be fitted with very strong NdFeB neodymium magnets. We can manufacture magnetic plates in any dimensions on request.

This conveyor spreads accumulated material into an even layer across the entire belt width. The material can then be separated more easily and effectively, especially when using a non-ferrous metal separator, magnetic plate, magnetic drum or magnetic roller. The vibratory conveyor is suitable for dry bulk materials. It is not suitable for fine and sticky materials. The high conveyor trough prevents material from falling outside the conveyor belt.
A magnetic plate is suitable for separating magnetic contaminants from material conveyed on a conveyor belt, especially where the occurrence of magnetic contaminants is not too high and the magnet can be cleaned manually on a regular basis.
