

A common issue in food production is cleaning footwear when moving from workshop areas into food-processing facilities. Footwear may be contaminated with ferromagnetic impurities (metal shavings, filings, metal dust), creating a risk of contaminating the clean production area with these impurities.
For this reason, we developed a mat designed to capture ferromagnetic impurities from the soles of footwear. The mat is fitted with very strong NdFeB neodymium magnets. The magnets are covered by a rubber mat.
The cleaning mat is most commonly placed in the transition area between the workshop and the production facility. Simply walking across the magnetic cleaning mat causes ferromagnetic impurities to be captured by the mat, keeping personnel footwear clean.
The mat consists of two parts – the magnets and the protective rubber mat.
Simply remove the protective rubber section and dispose of the captured metals.
